Hailing from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Evgenii Knmel established himself in the Drum and Bass scene as Black Barrel few years ago.
In 2014, he produced one of his first EP, titled “Heaven / Atmosphere”, in collaboration with Mailky, through Russian record label Liquid Brilliants Records.
Four years later, Black Barrel released his debut studio album “Last Frontier”, on Dispatch Recordings.

Over the years, he played under both aliases across the world including Fabric, Let It Roll, Rampage, Outlook Festival, Star Warz, and toured Australia and New Zealand.
