Ferry Corsten started producing music at the age of 16. He was using first alias such as System F and Moonman.
In 1996, under his alias Moonman, he produced the song “Don’t Be Afraid” and ranked #46 at the United Kingdom Singles Chart.
In 1999, Ferry Corsten was elected Producer of the Year by Muzik Magazine at the Ericsson Muzik Awards in London. He also received the Zilveren Harp music award in the Netherlands for his contribution to Dutch Dance Music.
Ferry Corsten released his first album “Right Away”, under his name, in 2003. The first single of the album, called “Rock Your Body, Rock” reached top 10 in United Kingdom.
