Few Milestones

Robert Hood has been active since 1989. That year, he founded the musical collective Underground Resistance, with Jeff Mills and “Mad” Mike Banks.

In 1992, he left Detroit and Underground Resistance with Jeff Mills. They released production together under the aliases H&M and X-103.

Two years later, Robert Hood founded his own record label M-Plant.
He also released his album, titled “Minimal Nation”, on Jeff Mills‘ record label Axis. It is considered the inspiration for the Minimal Techno genre.

In 2011, he released his first gospel-inspired track, titled “We Magnify His Name”, under the alias Floorplan.
Five years later, his project Floorplan expanded to include his daughter, Lyric Hood.
