Sub Focus was originally a fan of rock music and started a band at school with friends. At the age of 13, he discovered computer software for producing Electronic Music and became a self-taught producer.

His professional career started in 2003 when he started releasing records.

In 2008, he released his single “Timewarp / Join The Dots”, which peaked number one on the UK Dance chart.

In 2009, Sub Focus released his debut album “Sub Focus” which features 13 tracks. It contains collaboration with Culture Shock and Takura.

2013 was a big year for him, performing at festivals such as Reading and Leeds Festivals, Glastonbury and Dour Festival.
He also released his second album “Torus”.

In 2019, Sub Focus performed a back to back with his buddy Wilkinson at the Belgian festival Rampage.
